Keto Coffee Cake Smoothie for one

Some of you know, I'm back on a Keto journey, and that means I get to play with my food in new and exciting ways!

Because life as an entrepreneur can be juuuuust a wee bit crazy, I found myself foregoing breakfast too often. This can be bad... very bad. 

SO.... in order to make breakfast more appetizing when I really just do NOT want to see food in the a.m hours while I'm at home, I had to make something that was A. Liquid, and B. portable.

Enter the smoothie journey. 

I've been playing with greens, nuts, fruits, protein powders, seeds, you name it! (If you might have something new, fly it by me, in the name of great food I'm game!)

One of the BEST things that have come out of this yet, is the Coffee Cake Smoothie. It is the BOMB!!!!


Keto Coffee Cake Smoothie for one

Ingredients:
8 oz nut milk
1 tbsp Flax Meal (ground flax seed)
1 Tbsp Almond Butter
2 Tbsp Unflavored Protein Powder (enough for 20 g of protein)
1 Tbsp Coconut Oil (or MCT oil)
1 Tsp Hart's Desire Chai Spice
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 1/2 tsp Xylitol, or Erythritol (about 1 Tbsp Alulose), or add sweetener to taste.

Directions
1. Add 1/2 your nut milk to everything else in a blender, and blend on high until it starts getting thick.
2. Add up to another 4 oz of nut milk to desired consistency.
3. Enjoy!!!
