Better Banana Bread

Ingredients:

1 3/4 C All Purpose Flour

1/2- 2/3 C Sugar
2 Tsp Baking Powder

½ Tsp Baking Soda

¼ Tsp Salt

1 Tsp Chai Spice

1 C mashed Banana (2-3 very ripe Bananas)

1/3 c Butter

2 Tbsp Milk

2 lg eggs

¼ c Chopped Nuts (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.

2. In a medium-large bowl, mix Flour, Sugar, Baking Powder, Baking Powder, Salt, and Chai Spice well.

3. Add Banana, Butter, Milk, and eggs, and stir well, until you have a thick, smooth batter. (be careful not to overmix… More about this in the video)

4. Pour into a well-greased 2# Loaf Pan (can use 1 ½# pan, but be careful of overflow) and put in the oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

5. Turn out onto a wire rack and cool for about 10 minutes before cutting.
