Pulled Pork

 

Ingredients:


Pork Roast

1-2 c Chicken Broth or Apple Juice

 

Rub and finishing mix:
2 Tbsp Chili Bowl Spice

1 1/2 tsp Salt (or to taste)

6 Tbsp Brown Sugar (or substitute)

Instructions:

1. Mix together the Chili Bowl, Salt, and Brown Sugar,

2. Reserve half of the mix for later (duplicate the recipe as necessary for the size roast you have)

3. Pat dry your roast

4. Press Rub onto roast as thickly as you can.

5. Add Chicken Broth/Apple juice and Roast to slow cooker bowl

7. Turn on your slow cooker and walk away for most the day, until the roast pulls apart with little effort.

8. Pour your drippings into another container and reserve.

9. Shred the roast

10. Add reserved spice mix, mixing well.

11. Add in some drippings if need be, and serve. BBQ sauce TOTALLY optional!
